Today, let's remember
God now has a new little member
We ask God to care for your child
And pray (......) will have a smooth ride
And as (he) (she) travels along life's road
(He) (She) is never burdened with a heavy load.

Then Peter said unto them,Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.Acts 2:38 KJV

Build me a son, O Lord,
who will be strong enough to know when he is weak,
and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid,
one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat,
and humble and gentle in victory.

First came love
Then came marriage
Then came (name)
In a baby carriage
Now's the time
To make it all complete
And to hold the Christening
Of this child so sweet

 But Jesus said,
"Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these."
Matthew 19:14

There is nothing to compare
to the miracle of birth
Few words to share
that will equal it's worth.
In the twinkle of an eye
a new life is formed.
And for a lifetime
a mother's heart is warmed.
In your beginning
a dream coming true.
Open arms awaiting
a miracle such as you.

As you name your child on this day
We add our wish in every way
Life ahead to be as wonderful as can be
That's our wish for (.......) from .....and me!

A wee bit of heaven
Drifted down from above;
A handful of happiness,
A heartful of love.
The mystery of life,
So sacred and sweet;
The giver of joy
So deep and complete.
Precious and priceless,
so lovable, too.
The world's sweetest miracle,
baby, is you.

Thank you for being our Godchild
We'll wrap you in our prayers,
And ask the Lord to keep you
In his gentle loving care.

Times with you are special
And all to quickly pass,
You fill our world with endless love
And memories that will last.

To name our beautiful baby
On this memorable day,
With our family and friends all present
We name (her) (him) .........

We make our vows that we will always be
There in every way we can,
To show (him)(her) the way to be
With love and how it all began.

The miracle of parenthood
Is something to behold.
Never to be underestimated
Receiving love and joy back ninefold.

The name is something special
As to how the child turns out to be;
It was never thought out to much before
When it was down to you and me.

So look at all the meanings
Handed down over the years;
As characters are made of stuff
And qualities (he)or(she)will wear.
