Grandmother Poems
Our Grandmother Poems for Grandmas' everywhere are short, funny, cute but most of all full of love and honor for the lifetime of looking after everyone.

Grandparents and grandchildren,
Together they create a chain of love
Linking the past,
With the future.
The chain may lengthen,
But it will never part.

Being pretty on the inside means
you don’t hit your brother and
you eat all your peas -
that’s what my grandma taught me.

Grandma always knows best
I know that to be true;
She knows so very many things
As she's older than me and you.
It's funny how she tells me that
at least once or twice a day;
but if I say you're getting old
I get told that's not okay?

My grandmother only sits in pictures
As I don't remember her you see;
My mom talks about her all the time
Telling stories whilst sitting on her knee.
She waited and stayed until she met me
She was poorly but full of so much love;
She had to go as she was sick
Now she watches us from heaven up above.
I know my Mom will teach me
all the things from Grandma too;
Lots of cooking and cleaning tips
Whilst working around the house
"Saying you young'uns haven't a clue!"

My grandma wears some funny hats
But not all of them are the same;
My friends Grandma is really young
and still plays lots of games.
Grandmas come in all shapes and sizes
With lots of different color hair;
They all have magic kisses though
when you've fallen from a chair.
Cookies are their specialty
for all sorts of bumps and bruises;
You have to be good though
She won't put up with excuses.

So cozy and warm.
Just the smell of coffee
Reminds me of your wisdom and charm.
I know I can always come to you
When lost or alone.
For you always comfort me
And make me feel at home.
You are the silver lining of a cloudy day.
And I know whom can trust
when clouds blow my way.
Grandmother, your hugs and kisses
Will be stored in my heart each day.

Old Woman
As a white candle
In a holy place,
So is the beauty
Of an aged face.

Grandma's Off Her Rocker!
In the dim and distant past,
When life's tempo wasn't fast,
Grandma used to rock and knit,
Crochet, tat and baby sit.
When we were in a jam,
We could always count on gran.
In the age of gracious living,
Grandma's life was one of giving.
But today…
Now grandma's at the gym,
Exercising to keep slim,
She's off touring with the bunch,
Or taking all her friends to lunch.
Driving north to fish or hike,
Taking time to ride her bike.
Nothing seems to block or stop her,
Now that grandma's off her rocker.
