I can feel your presence in my day dream
It fills my need to be close to you once more;
I know you would love me to be smiling
I'm not sure just how to do that anymore.

I thought I would still keep our plans
And I will fulfil them just for you;
It helps me then to have you near
As I know you are still with me too!

Stand strong by God, you're in good hands,
And I'll stand strong as well,
And together we'll journey through these lives,
In each other's hearts, only parallel.

It's the thought of never that I find the hardest
I don't mind all the waiting;
But to see you and hold you in my arms
And to continue with our debating.

Everyday things that seemed so  dull
Would now be miraculous with you by my side;
The household chores that you so loved
And if I didn't do them "Woe betide"
