Thinking of you now'n'again
Would be hard enough;
But all day everyday
Is getting really tough.

I miss you so much
That words alone don't cover;
But knowing you'll be home again
And soon I'll be your lover.

Just how precious you are to me,
My every thought of you
Is as loving as can be
My heart is totally filled with things
That words alone can't say,
This comes especially for you
Thinking of you today.

We're old, we're good
And share some love and pleasure;
That no one knows or cares about
This I will always treasure.

It's as if we're in a secret place
And every time we meet;
It doesn't matter when it is
It's always such a treat.

Time's stood still
Just for the two of us;
The memories are so strong
It's a shame they tell us to hush.

They only see the aged bodies
With greyness and some frailty;
But we are just the same inside
You still look handsome in your trilby.

I was just thinking about you
As I know you go into hospital soon;
I saw this poem in a book
it looked just written for you.

Good Luck with your bypass
It's going by what I didn't think you had;
So glad at last you've found it
I'm sure it won't be all that bad!

I really do mean it when
I tell you that I care;
You're going to be just fine
Must stop this grumbling - Oh what a pair!

Long time no see but you are always in my thoughts
and this poem below puts these into better words than I!

You were like a sister to me when no one else cared,
You heard me calling when I was in despair;
You even held my hand and helped me to face my fear,
You took great care of me and let me know you were there.
Thank you for always been sincere.

I think about you when you leave
I think about you when I pick you up;
I wonder what lessons you are doing
When sums and history try to trip you up.

Painting and sports are what you like
I know that cos you're just like me;
But trust me you will need these things
When you're grown up as busy as a bee!
