Today is special, our anniversary
Each day of our life together
Has been a learning experience of love
And a spiritual journey of happiness
May God smile down on us
As we celebrate our love for each other
And as we journey on hand in hand
Heart to Heart

If your parents could just see you now
After all their words and constant row.
You knew your heads but most definitely your hearts
and were certain that you'd never part.
So to the bride and groom of yesteryear
of the hardship, memories and the wear and tear.
For determination and guts, laughter and grit
You two certainly were not going to get over it.
For the fine example, humor and plain resolve
There was no way this union would ever dissolve.
Love and congratulations to you both

If two stand shoulder to shoulder against the gods,
Happy together, the gods themselves are helpless
Against them while they stand so.

Personally I think we are worth our weight in gold
although the value of that differs everyday.
I would like to say you're gorgeous still
in absolutely every single way.

A happy marriage is a long conversation that always seems too short.

The bonds of matrimony are like any other bonds - they mature slowly.

I've Married One of Shakespeare's Dreams

Geniuses of countless nations
Have told their love for generations
Till all their memorable phrases
Are common as goldenrod or daisies.

Their girls have glimmered like the moon,
Or shimmered like a summer moon,
Stood like a lily, fled like a fawn,
Now the sunset, now the dawn,

Here the princess in the tower
There the sweet forbidden flower.
Darling, when I look at you
Every aged phrase is new,
And there are moments when it seems
I've married one of Shakespeare's dreams.

Happiness
Like the birds sing a sweet song.
Like the rivers strum a lovely tune.
Like the stars serenade the moon.
Like flowers look so pretty in June.
Like water makes violets grow.
Like winter brings flaky snow.
This true and no jest.
Love is the blueprint for happiness.
